The Foodbank has recently concluded an arrangement with Stratford Leisure to become a drop off point for food donations. Marion Homer, the Foodbank Manager, concluded the arrangement today with Nick Stowey, the General Manager of the Leisure Centre.
The leisure centre is a major community hub with a footfall of about 50,000 people per month. Marion Homer said today “The Foodbank is a community endeavour and linking with such an important local facility is a great boost for our operation. It’s vital that we are accessible and the Leisure Centre is open 7 days a week from 7am until 10pm with easy parking. We’re thrilled to have this tie up.”
