You will coordinate and deliver various activities/assemblies/talks/programs within the school setting to raise awareness of what Foodbanks are and how we operate. You will support any fundraising activity the schools put on for us.

An ideal role if you have previously been a teacher or delivered training.

You will open up the warehouse, brief the volunteers and meticulously weigh in our donations. You will also need to complete housekeeping tasks to make sure our warehouse stays tidy.

Distribution Session Lead

As one of two DSL’s you will oversee our food parcel distribution session, guiding a small team of volunteers as they meet our clients, understand their needs and create tailored food parcels for them. You will ensure the smooth running of the session, providing a clear briefing at the beginning and tidy up at the end.

You need to have a compassionate and empathetic manner, be able to cope under pressure and have great customer service skills to deal with vulnerable people.
