Volunteer drivers needed

21st June 2023

Interested in volunteering for Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank? Enjoy driving, have your own car and a UK drivers license?

You could help us!

We’re looking for committed and caring people to help us collect donations from local supermarkets and deliver food parcels!

You must be able to volunteer for at least one session a fortnight on a Tuesday or Friday lunchtime between 1PM and 3PM and be physically able to load and unload a car-load of shopping bags full of food.

Food parcels are collected from the foodbank warehouse (CV37 6QY) at 1PM. We deliver to a wide geographical area within the Stratford District, going north as far as Henley, south to Admington, east to Loxley and west to the Worcestershire/Warwickshire borders.

For safety reasons we always work in pairs, so couples are also welcome to volunteer together or even volunteer with a friend! Mileage costs at 45 pence per mile can be claimed.
