Thanks to the generosity of Richard and his team at Stratford Leisure Centre, we have a new location for one of our food collection points! The collection basket is located right in the entrance hall, so if you are going in for a leisurely swim, or a strenuous gym workout, you can also pop a tin in our basket at the same time!
Although Everyone Active, who run the centre, have a national charity whom they support over a two year programme, individual branches are able to support local charities. We are very lucky the leisure centre are willing to support our work as the centre is very much part of the community and can really promote the work that we do to alleviate food poverty in Stratford.
