Next week, Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank is having an exceptional week of local support, with three food drive events in the town:
- Morrisons, Alcester Road is inviting their customers to show support for the foodbank with an all-day in-store food collection on Tuesday 18 July
- Tesco, Birmingham Road is inviting their customers to show support for the foodbank with an all-day in-store food collection on Wednesday 19 July
- Stratford Girls’ Grammar School, Shottery is running a house competition and asking their pupils to bring a food item to school on Thursday 20 July.
In the last year, food banks in the Trussell Trust network distributed nearly 3 million emergency food parcels across the UK, with 4332 food parcels being distributed in the Stratford-upon-Avon area in the year ending March 2023.
