Project Support Assistant Role

Part time 22.5 per week – home based role

Six month fixed – term contract, self – employed basis

Overview

Stratford upon Avon Foodbank is looking to recruit a flexible hard working Project Assistant. This temporary role will support the Foodbank Manager for 6 months whilst the charity undertakes a service delivery review and prepares to move into the new Fred Winter’s Centre in 2021.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, work to a high standard and be keen to support the Foodbank Manager across all areas of operation during this development period. They must have a passion for social justice, and an appreciation of the work of the Trussell Trust, being sympathetic to its values and ethos.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of volunteering or volunteer management
  • Be capable of independent working and possess personal resilience
  • The ability to manage multiple demands and able to establish clear priorities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Drop Box applications, and collaborative online document management
  • Experience in social media as a way of effective engagement
  • The ability to manage multiple email accounts
  • A clean driving licence

Please note – that as this is a self-employed position the successful candidate will need to make their own Tax and NI arrangements.
