A new collection point for the Food bank has been established in Claverdon at the community shop, for which we are extremely grateful.
The shop in the village is staffed entirely by volunteers, as is the Foodbank. Our manager, Marion gave a talk to one of the community groups in Claverdon last Autumn and following this, along with our presence on social media, awareness of our work in the wider community prompted Alicia Mason to make contact and offer to set up a donation point within the village’s focal point, the community shop.
Of course, we were delighted to arrange this, and we are very grateful to the Claverdon community for not only supporting this initiative but in addition, for their very welcome donations for the less fortunate families in our area.
