Communities Come on Board

16th December 2020

Following the recent story on Claverdon Community Shop setting up a donation point for the Foodbank, we are delighted to announce that a further two village stores in Mickleton and Wilmcote have volunteered a space in their shops to collect donations from the local residents for our much needed Foodbank.

Marion, our Foodbank manager said, “Stratford Foodbank supports not only those living in the town of Stratford but also the outlying villages – in fact at least 40% of all clients using us live beyond the town, so it’s really great to know we have the support of local stores prepared to collect food for us and remind villagers we are there for them too”.

Not only are the stores collecting for us they are also delivering the food to our warehouse at the Methodist Church in Stratford, for which we are extremely grateful.

If you live in one of the outlying villages from Stratford and think your local community could establish a collection point to support the foodbank, please contact [email protected] if you would like  to discuss this further.
