Salary: £30,000 on a FT basis
Based: Fred Winter Centre, Stratford upon Avon with some opportunity for home working
Overview
Stratford upon Avon Foodbank is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager/Operations Lead.
The successful candidate will be able to lead and ensure delivery of all Foodbank operational activities effectively and efficiently. They must have a passion for social justice, and an appreciation of the work of the Trussell Trust, being sympathetic to its values and ethos.
Role Responsibilities:
- Leading the frontline distribution operation, ensuring clients are managed fairly & empathetically.
- Leading the warehouse teams, ensuring stock is efficiently managed and rotated
- Leading and defining operating procedures and ensuring all are followed (including H&S)
- Leading the team responsible for working with food donations/donators & leading on food drives
- Engaging & motivating volunteers to contribute to the SuA Foodbank’s values, vision & strategy
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes/practices and champions their change management
- Working with the Referral Agency network to ensure the Foodbank is accessible to those in need

- Experience in leading change management within the voluntary sector / with volunteers
- Experience in logistics or stock control
