Coventry Building Society supports Stratford upon Avon Foodbank via their Community Partnership Scheme
Stratford upon Avon Foodbank were delighted last year to be selected by Coventry Building Society, Stratford upon Avon to be their Community Partner. The staff at the Wood Street branch have supported the Foodbank in a number of ways during the year including participating in food drives, stock takes, and hosting a food donation basket in the branch, this has all been coordinated by their community champion Emma. The Foodbank has also been very fortunate to benefit from financial donations/grants from the building society too, which it is extremely grateful for in these challenging times.
This Christmas the Wood Street branch is running a raffle to raise funds for the Food Bank. Local businesses have generously donated prizes towards a number of hampers – from food and drinks vouchers to beauty and toys, there really is something for everyone. The raffle runs from Monday 20th November until close of business Saturday 16th December – meaning winners will have their items ready for Christmas! Tickets cost just £1 and can be bought in branch by anyone over the age of 18.
