About us
We believe that no one in our community should face hunger.

That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people in Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas.
We are part of a nationwide community of food banks, supported by Trussell, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Our vision is to end food poverty in Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding area.
Our mission is to prevent and relieve poverty, bringing communities together and provide compassionate, practical help with dignity.
We work with our clients and volunteers in a way that is compassionate and demonstrates trust and respect. We work fairly and responsibly to provide support to those in need, especially those in our community who are in crisis.
We will achieve our short and long term vision and mission by focusing on our strategic aims.
Our first aim
- To run the effective provision of emergency food parcels and support for people in crisis/need
This is further broken down into three directives:
Alleviate the impact of food poverty
We will provide emergency food, advice, signposting and support to those facing financial challenges in Stratford upon Avon.
Broaden our reach
Expand our footprint in underserved areas and improve access for underrepresented demographics
Develop our core offer
Through advice, signposting, and frontline empowerment to ensure financial inclusion
Our second aim
- To work with partners to understand and help alleviate the root causes of poverty
This is further broken down into two directives:
Empower and support our community
We will work with partners to provide a welcoming and safe community hub offering hope, advice and support at an early stage.
Campaign for change
We will use data and life stories to challenge inequality, influence local policy makers across our community to effect positive change.
