Volunteer
Our volunteers help us to provide food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.

Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.
Volunteer vacancies
These are the current vacancies at the Foodbank:
Health and Safety Coordinator
To support the food bank in monitoring and reviewing health and safety risks and accidents. Having experience in H&S in warehousing or a public interface environment would be advantageous.
Delivery drivers
Working with a buddy and using your own car, you will deliver our emergency food parcels to clients who have requested a delivery. Deliveries occur on a Tuesday and Friday from 1pm. A clean driving licence is required as well as being confident to access an email account for delivery information.
Fundraising volunteer
You’ll help bring our charity to life by supporting events, bucket collections, and community outreach. This is a people‑centred role where you’ll be spreading awareness, encouraging donations of food and funds, and helping make every supporter interaction meaningful.
Warehouse team leader
As a warehouse team leader you will be overseeing a small team of volunteers as they process incoming food donations.
Satellite session support for Bidford
We are launching a new satellite session in Bidford on Avon. You will work within a small team to help with the set-up of the satellite session and make sure clients receive their pre-packaged food parcel.
Live parcel picker
To use the picking list to collate food parcels for our clients at our Masons Road Hub distribution sessions.
