Our volunteers help us to provide food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.

Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.

Please be aware that due to the increase of numbers needing the foodbank in the run up to Christmas, we are unable to take on any new volunteers this side of the New Year.

Health and Safety Coordinator

To support the food bank in monitoring and reviewing health and safety risks and accidents. Having experience in H&S in warehousing or a public interface environment would be advantageous.

Box packersĀ 

To produce pre-packed emergency food parcels to go out to our distribution sessions. Box packing sessions occur on a Tuesday and Friday from 11.30-1.30. Medium to heavy lifting capability required.

Delivery drivers

Working with a buddy and using your own car, you will deliver our emergency food parcels to clients who have requested a delivery. Deliveries occur on a Tuesday and Friday from 1pm. A clean driving licence is required as well as being confident to access an email account for delivery information.
