Meet our dedicated Trustees. Learn about their backgrounds, passions, and commitment to supporting the community.

Davina Logan
Davina joined the food bank as a Trustee in 2022 and became Chair in May 2024. A retired police officer with 34 years' service across four forces. She later chaired Age UK Oxfordshire and Action for Carers Oxfordshire. She runs a coaching business, lives near Stratford with her husband, and enjoys walking, reading, travel, and gardening. Davina volunteers regularly and loves learning.

Neil Hounsell
Neil has volunteered at the food bank since 2019 and became a Trustee in 2024. He helps with distribution sessions and home deliveries, and previously supported warehouse and supermarket collections. Neil is also an Age UK befriender and serves on Stratford’s Remuneration Panel. He hopes to become Avon Bowls Club secretary soon - his final step to becoming a “fully-fledged old bloke.”

Anne Turner
Anne’s background is in accountancy and finance, having worked as Finance Director in three large Midlands housing associations for over 25 years. Since retiring in 2016, she’s held several non-executive roles, mainly in housing. Passionate about safe, affordable homes. Anne lives near Stratford with her husband Steve. She enjoys theatre, countryside walks, gardening, and baking.

Maggie Hedger
Maggie joined the food bank after retiring from a Public Sector career 6 years ago. She was a Trustee until Nov 2020, rejoining in April 2022. She’s worked in Front Line and Warehouse roles, and now focuses on supporting the food bank’s Pathfinder status. Maggie enjoys distance walking, gardening, her allotment, cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Mark Langley
Mark has been a Trustee since Jan 2022, supporting health and safety at the Foodbank and volunteering in operations. His background is in operational and H&S leadership in the pharmaceutical industry, including time abroad. He and his wife Fiona moved to Stratford in 2021 to be closer to family. Mark does safety consultancy, plays golf, cycles, and is active in the Shakespeare Lions Club.

Kate Rolfe
Kate Rolfe has lived and worked in Stratford-upon-Avon for over 26 years. A Town, District, and County Councillor for 15+ years, she’s twice served as Mayor, most recently in 2023–2024, when the food bank was one of her chosen charities. Kate enjoys supporting food drives, local events, and theatre with her husband Mike. She’s excited to be a Trustee and looks forward to helping however she can.

Lina Jutila (pronounced eena)
Lina recently joined the food bank as a Trustee, bringing experience in policy, legal, and strategic roles supporting vulnerable communities. Her personal experience with food banks fuels her passion for their mission. New to the West Midlands, she enjoys hiking, running, painting, and caring for her two kittens. This is her first trustee role, and she’s excited to contribute her skills and energy.

Gerry Dryden
Originally from Northumberland, Gerry has lived in Stratford district since 2001. With a career in senior health, social care, and housing roles, he’s spent the last decade in the charity sector, including as CEO of a regional charity. Now a Trustee, Gerry is committed to social justice and community care. He and his wife enjoy theatre and local events.
