Cobbs Farm Shop, Snitterfield, and Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank have announced a new corporate partnership designed to strengthen community support for people experiencing food insecurity in Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding area.
The partnership brings together two organisations rooted in community: Cobbs Farm Shop’s commitment to sustainable, community-focused retail and Stratford Foodbank’s mission to ensure no one in the area goes hungry. Through the collaboration, Cobbs will provide ongoing financial support, awareness raising, and opportunities for customers to contribute directly to the Foodbank’s work.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with Cobbs,” said Isla Stroyan, Fundraising Officer at Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank. “Their team understands that foodbanks are about more than emergency food: they’re about dignity, compassion, and making sure people feel supported when life takes an unexpected turn. This partnership will help us meet rising need and allow us to spread awareness of what we do.”
Cobbs Farm Shop will introduce several initiatives as part of the partnership, including donation points in-store as well as providing financial donations.
“At Cobbs, we believe local businesses have a responsibility to look after the communities they’re part of.” said Chloe May, Events and Marketing Assistant at Cobbs Farm Shop, Snitterfield. “We are so excited to work with Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank and do our bit to ensure the people of Stratford and the surrounding villages don’t go hungry when times get tough.”
The partnership comes at a time when Trussell, the UK-wide network of foodbanks has announced their end of year stats which make for sobering reading. In 2025, they distributed 2.6 million food parcels, one every twelve seconds, with 35% of these going to children.
The partnership officially launches this month, with the foodbank in attendance at Cobbs’ Makers Market on 28th March.
