Stratford upon Avon Foodbank officially opens the new hub

Last Friday 26th June, we held our 'official' opening event at Masons Road hub. This was a chance to say thank you to all of our corporate partners who have so generously donated time, furniture, equipment and funding to get us up and running, as well as bringing together individual donors, schools who have taken on our new initiatives and public figures of Stratford that support the work that we do.
We had over 80 people attend and we were very privileged to welcome MP Manuela Perteghella to officially open the hub. She spoke encouragingly of our work and was excited to see how we develop as an organisation. 

Nathan Iles,  assistant director of operations at Trussell said:

It was lovely to meet members of the team, other trustees and some of the other local partners present.  You should be incredibly proud of both the event itself, and the wider milestone in SUAs story, which I know will make such a difference to so many in the months and years to come.

Thanks for all you continue to do to stand with those in need in your local community.  It was truly wonderful to hear your MP sharing so warmly and supportively about the Guarantee Our Essentials campaign.
